Hexham House Apartment Two is a cosy one-bedroom property with a king-size bedroom and en-suite, high-ceilinged living space and compact kitchen. As it shares its entrance with Apartment One, it is possible to take both properties and create townhouse-style living for larger gatherings. It’s our most accessible apartment, with only two steps to the front door, so ideal for those with limited mobility.

A cosy apartment with high ceilings and huge windows, a king-size bedroom and compact bathroom. Comprising a fully equipped kitchen with open-plan dining and living area, with a comfortable sofa and co-ordinating soft furnishings and lighting.

This apartment provides a peaceful resting place in a superb central location, perfect for exploring Hexham and Northumberland, with excellent public transport links, making it a great base for those who wish to explore the region without a car.

The apartment shares its entrance with Apartment One, meaning they can be hired together to create additional space for larger groups.

Accommodation

Hexham House is set on the edge of Hexham Abbey Grounds and Sele Park. Many of the seven apartments have views towards Hexham Abbey and the surrounding parks and bowling green. The manicured gardens provide many peaceful spots to sit and watch the world go by, and a perfect setting for wedding photographs.

    Comfortable sofa, bookcase and plenty of lighting options plus and wall mounted internet-enabled TV.

    Kitchen/Diner: With electric oven and hob, microwave, small fridge and freezer. Fully equipped with everything needed in a modern kitchen including washing up and cleaning essentials.

  • Bike Sheds

    Bike sheds available on request.

  • wi-fi

    High-speed Wi-fi is provided and the internet-enabled TV’s allow for digital channel and catch-up viewing.

  • parking

    Each apartment has a parking permit for one vehicle to be parked at Hexham Abbey Car Park, a one-minute walk away, with an unloading area next to the apartments. All this information is provided with the access instructions before your stay.

Each of the apartments at Hexham House has been provided with a parking permit to allow you to park your car within the private car park at Hexham Abbey. This is a one minute walk away via the Abbey’s grounds and Hexham House Gardens.

In order to unload easily drop off parking is located in a small alleyway to the right of Hexham House and to the left of Bouchon Bistro – this parking is purely for arrival and departure and we ask that the vehicles are moved as quickly as possible to your allocated parking in the Abbey Car Park.

Once you have unloaded and collected the parking permit from your apartment drive up Market Street towards the town centre with Hexham House on your right, take the next right into Cowgarth Lane and continue under the arch.

At the top of this short road you will see the stone pillars marking the entrance to Hexham Abbey car park. Please park in any available space and display parking permit clearly. There is only provision for parking one vehicle within the Abbey Car Park per apartment, further public parking is available in the Gilesgate car park – located virtually opposite Hexham House – the rearmost spaces have no time limit and no permit is required, other spaces require a parking disc and are timed. A parking disk is also provided within your apartment.

We had a great stay at the apartment. It’s in a great location near to the centre of Hexham. Nice welcome pack and free parking. Would recommend the bakery just around the corner but be prepared for a big queue, but worth it. Some nice bars and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our stay.
