The Castle was acquired by the Cuthbert family in the early 19th century when the present, imposing castellated Gothic revival style mansion was built. This incorporates parts of the 17th-century house and Pele Tower recorded in 1415.

Every room offers vast comfortable spaces, from the grand Drawing Room with huge windows and stunning views of the valley below, to the stained glass stairway with gothic stone work and the incredibly spacious and unique bedrooms. The grand inner hallway provides both a dining space and Billiards table for post dinner competitions!

A large well-equipped  kitchen and breakfast room offer space for you to prepare celebratory meals or for a caterer to work, with the magnificent grounds providing further space to relax and enjoy the scenery.

The Castle offers 8 bedrooms sleeping up to 16 guests and 6 bathrooms.

Please be aware the property consists of half of the castle, the owner occupies the other half.

    Grand drawing room with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the expansive view of the Tyne Valley below. The large open fireplace is surrounded by plenty of comfortable seating, where all guests can gather and unwind.

    Offering additional space to gather and relax while enjoying views of Corbridge and Hexham.

  • kitchen & breakfast room

    Spacious, fully-equipped kitchen ideal for guests or your caterers to prepare meals, complemented by a breakfast room that comfortably seats all 16 guests.

  • Dining Hall

    The huge dining hall currently holds both the billiard table and dining table for 16, with an impressive vaulted celling and quirky artworks.

    Eight spacious, beautifully decorated bedrooms, including three twin rooms and five super king rooms. Many rooms offer stunning views over the valley below and have luxurious duvets, pillows, and bedding.

  • Bathrooms

    Six newly renovated bathrooms, each with bath, shower, WC and sink.

  • Outdoors

    Guests have access to the large terrace to the rear of the property, where sweeping views of the Tyne Valley can be enjoyed in warmer months.

  • Included

    All fuel, power, bed linen and towels included. Broadband providing Wi-Fi is provided. The Smart TV offers digital channels, catch-up TV e.g. BBC iPlayer, digital radio.

VIRTUAL TOUR

Beaufront Castle will definitely have a special place in our hearts. It was such an amazing experience staying in an epic castle with all our friends. It’s a huge estate and all the rooms are super big and it felt like a Bridgeton movie set! All rooms have been newly renovated and very clean. We also enjoyed stargazing over the fields and even got to experience Northern lights on our second night. Definitely book if you’re in a large group!
