Explore Northumberland

Northumberland is a truly unique county filled with ancient castles, beaches, rolling hills and rugged moorland. We have unspoilt coastline and striking, sweeping countryside peppered with small friendly market towns and a cultural heritage all of our own.

From Hadrian’s Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, through to the Northumberland National Parkland, down to the North Pennines AONB, there are more castles and historic sites than any other English county. Northumberland offers every visitor so much to enjoy throughout the year with, of course, the warmest of welcomes!
