Below we’ve listed our very favourite activities to enjoy around our properties with that special someone.

Hiking

If you’re a couple who can’t sit still and love experiencing the great outdoors, here are a few hiking routes that will be perfect for you.
You’re in the ideal spot if you’re staying in our Byres properties or The Steadings. Here you are based in Northumberland National Park where there are hiking routes galore. But if you’re looking to head further, there’s also a beautiful area by Kielder Water which is only a 20 minute drive away. Here you can take the route around the Bull Crag Peninsula loop, taking in breathtaking views around the park, with plenty of opportunities to stop for a romantic picnic.

When staying in our Hexham properties like Hexham House Apartments or Seal Cottage, a 12 minute drive will take you to Chollerford where you can start an advanced route to Steel Rigg. Take in the history, get those steps in and feel the sense of achievement together when you complete the trail!
